Why Choose Dapitem for Sheet Metal Parts?

Fast and Simple Online Quoting

We offer an average one-day upload-to-quote lead time (simple design quoting in as fast as one hour). Easily configure part specifications like material selection, and finishing options.

All sheet metal parts are made in China with secondary operations such as hardware placement, welding, and finishing done in-house or locally by an approved vendor.

Quality parts are delivered within our five-day standard lead time. Our manufacturing network offers volume discounts for lower unit costs.

Cost-effective & Reliable

Sheet Metal Technical Expertise

Work with our team of engineering experts that offer technical design guidance and can inform you on manufacturability and cost-saving opportunities.

With more than 200 machines all under one roof, we’re dedicated to continuously evolving our capabilities.

Expansive Capacity

During the sheet metal fabrication process, thin sheet metal stock is placed on a flat bed where a laser cutter (1) draws programmed part patterns. Depending on the part geometry, a sheet metal punch (2) can form additional features. Once the parts are deburred, they move to the press brake (3) where they are formed into the final geometries. Additional secondary operations are often used to finish the sheet metal parts.

FAQ

What sheet metal thicknesses and materials do you support?

With over 30 years of manufacturing experience, our sheet metal capabilities cover a wide range of thicknesses and materials. We routinely process stainless steel, aluminum, carbon steel, brass, and copper, with sheet thicknesses ranging from 0.5mm to 20mm.

Furthermore, backed by our in-house CNC machining workshop, we offer comprehensive solutions for heavy-duty components exceeding 20mm or parts requiring extremely tight tolerances, eliminating the need for you to source from multiple vendors.

How do you ensure precision and prevent deformation in sheet metal parts?

Precision is the core of our factory's reputation. To ensure accuracy in sheet metal fabrication, we implement a "Total Quality Control" process:

1.Process Optimization: For large, thin sheets, we pre-calculate springback and optimize bending sequences to minimize warping.

2.High-Precision Equipment: We use advanced CNC punch presses and press brakes to guarantee accurate bending angles and positioning.

3.Rigorous Inspection: Our quality team performs "First Article Inspection" and in-process checks. We also utilize CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines) to conduct 100% inspection on critical dimensions, ensuring every delivered part meets ISO quality standards.

Do you offer surface finishing and assembly services for sheet metal parts?

Absolutely. We offer a comprehensive "One-Stop Sheet Metal Service". In addition to CNC punching, laser cutting, bending, and welding, we provide a variety of surface finishes, including powder coating, anodizing, electroplating, brushing, and polishing, to meet various anti-corrosion and aesthetic requirements.

If your project involves hardware pressing, stud welding, or final assembly, we can also handle that for you. We don't just deliver parts; we are committed to delivering ready-to-use assemblies, helping you save significantly on logistics and supply chain management costs.
